She's an Advertising Communicator from the Universidad Iberoamericana, and a Master in Audiovisual Production from the Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona. In the year 2002 is when she realize where to focus her communication career, being part of the braodcast company Tic Tac Tuk and working as an production assistant for major programs in the Dominican Republic, such as "Divertido con Jochy" and "Piedra, Papel y Tijera", giving her the opportunity to become co-producer years later.

Alexandra made her professional practice in Lavinia Productions at the City of Barcelona, participating in several commercials for "Generalitat de Catalunya" and "Com Radio." After this experience and returning to the Dominican Republic, she helped to develop the 100.1 FM radio station; also in other TV productions such as "Con Jatnna", "Gold's Gym Reality TV, commercial capsules for Telemicro channel and for the broadcast company Avangart "INFO". She has also collaborate for radio programs like "Radio Tic Tac", "El Mismo Golpe" and in the production of "Top 20" of 100 FM. She has participated in events such as "Casandra Awards 2008", in concerts like "Negros en las Piedras" and "Tony Melendez, and in advertising campaigns for the company Tricom, and with "Caminantes por la vida" for Mercasid.

In 2007, as producer for BCN Producciones, she created with the company staff, the program "Vía Latina", in which apart from the production job, she contribute for the first time as an official cameraman.

In 2008, she emigrated to Miami in the United States, where she had the opportunity to work for shows like "Sólo para hombres ... y también para mujeres" produced by Dr. Nancy Alvarez and "Premios Juventud 2008" by Univisión.

She is currently in New York, working as Multimedia Coordinator for the Global Foundation for Democracy and Development and its programs "InteRDom" (www.interdominternships.org), for the "Diccionario Enciclopédico Dominicano de Medio Ambiente", and in similar way she works as an editor for websites Ecumple (www.ecumple.do) and Camera Flash.
